Higher Education Partnerships

Australia Awards PNG has established new partnerships with PNG higher education institutions (Higher Education Partnerships; HEP). HEP will deliver capacity development activities for selected PNG higher education partners, across four thematic areas:

  1. Transition to online approaches for teaching and learning
  2.  Supporting PNG academics and students through Australian linkages, including under the Linkage Support for Women Academics Program
  3.  Research skills/capability
  4. Student welfare

Linkage Support for Women Academics Program

The Linkage Support for Women Academics program is supporting PNG women academics to attend symposiums, conferences, and workshops in Australia in their area of specialisation, building and strengthening linkages between PNG and Australian universities. This support aims to strengthen linkages between PNG and Australian universities and to enhance the quality of academic programs delivered to PNG students.
